Now available on Android! This has been by far my most popular app on iPhone and now it is available for Android also.
This app was modeled after the slide rules that Industrial Radiographers use to estimate their exposure times.
The app has the ability to change between inches and MM, Curies or TBq. It also obviously has a selector for which isotope you are using.
X-Ray Timer has been updated to Version 3.0 and is available in the app store.
The product page for the app with app store link can be found at the link below;
This version adds the ability to use SI units in addition to standard US units of measure.
Other improvements include visual and performance improvements, and retina graphics for the iPhone.
This version requires iOS 5.
The 2.0 revision of X-Ray Timer has been approved by Apple and is in the App Store.
This revision added Se-75 as an Isotope selection. I used the values by the manufacturer for the radiation output and the published values for the shielding value of the steel. I don’t actually own any Selenium sources myself, but several people requested this feature.
I decided to go ahead and make this app free for the community. Sales dropped off enough to the point I wouldn’t really get paid anymore so I decided to make it free for everyone. Hopefully now it will be the new standard way work is done. Spread the work around.
I’m working on a Web App version for computer browsers and other smart phones.
